Mark 1:1-8
The good message about Jesus the Messiah, the Son of God, began when John, the Baptizer, as was prophesied long ago, announced the coming of Jesus.
God showed Jesustobethe Son ofGodby God's Spirit descending upon him; byHimself, Godthe Father, declaring it; by Satan testing him; andbythe angels taking care ofhim.
AfterJohnwas arrested, Jesuscameand preached thegood message thatcamefromGod.
Jesus showed his authority whenhe summoned four men, andthey immediately went withhim.
Peoplewere amazed asa result ofJesus expelling a demon froma man.

As several womenwhohadaccompaniedJesus watched, he died, afterwhichtheTemple curtain split intotwo parts, andthe Roman officer pronounced thatJesuswasthe Son ofGod.
Several women watched as Joseph and others buried Jesus' body in a cave after getting permission from Pilate.
Two days later several women were astonished to find Jesus' tomb empty.
