JUDE
Jude 1-2
I, Jude, a servant of Jesus Christ and brother of James, write to you who are chosen, loved, and protected by God.
Proclaim the truth that we believe and strongly defend it against thosewho oppose it.
How God destroyed three groups illustrates thathewill destroy theseungodlypeopleinyour midst.
Those teachers of false doctrine revilethe spiritual beings thattheydonot understand. But God will destroy them.
Becausethe teachers of false doctrine do wicked things, God will condemn themto hell. Theyare dangerous, useless, spiritually dead, restless, shameless, and unreliable.
Enoch prophesied thatthe Lord will condemn peoplelikethe wicked teachers of false doctrine. They grumble, are discontent, andare arrogant flatterers.
The apostles predicted that wicked peoplelikethe teachers of false doctrine wouldcome. They divide believers, live accordingtowhattheydesire, andare devoid of God's Spirit.
Believe the truth more firmly, pray bythe power oftheSpirit, andkeep expecting God tobe merciful.
Mercifully help thosewhoarenot certain whatto believe, rescue thosewhoarein danger of being influenced bythe teachers of false doctrine, and pity thosecompletely convinced bythem.
God, whois able to keep youfrom being condemned foryour sin andto present you guiltless beforehim, was great and ruled before time began, is still like that, andwill remain so forever.
